Commercial growth of the city is faster and more appealing than they are in other cities. Remember that Connaught Place in Delhi is considered as one of the most expensive office locations in the entire world. Though Mumbai is known as the commercial capital of India, the rank of Connaught Place was far better than any locations in Mumbai. This shows that there is a higher demand for Office Space in Delhi.

If there were no higher demand for Commercial Space in Delhi then there would not be such a higher rental appreciation in any of the areas or locations in Delhi. On the other hand you will see that the city is having a better and higher rental appreciation and you will not find it easier to lease or rent any office. You will be finding it more difficult to own a commercial property in the city just because the prices are far higher.

Recently a report stated that there are many foreign investors planning to have investment in the NCR. Blackstone is one of the top foreign investors who have plans to invest in the NCR. Even if they develop superior commercial spaces also, the demand for Commercial Space in Delhi will be stable and will not be affected in any way.

There are many who consider that as Gurgaon grows faster, there will be less demand for Office Space in Delhi. Industry experts sweep this argument away and consider it as meaningless. There may be many companies planning to shift to Gurgaon, however not anyone which has settled in Delhi.

As long as Delhi will remain as the capital city of the country, there will be demand for commercial space. However it is very sad to see that the builders are not able to come with sufficient number of Commercial Property in Delhi. DDA also fails to provide ample space for commercial development. In fact this shortage is an advantage for those who develop commercial projects as they will be able to gain higher rentals.
